About the Whitepapers
The insights for these white papers are drawn from a national study conducted by the Patton Foundation, examining the cost of living, financial literacy, education, and entrepreneurship across the U.S. and in Tennessee. Conducted through an online survey from June 27 to July 12, 2024, the study collected responses from 1,000 U.S. participants and an additional 400 Tennessee residents, with results weighted to reflect demographic diversity. Analyzing this data, the Patton Foundation identified key trends and challenges unique to Tennesseans, offering a focused look at their economic experiences compared to national perspectives.
